- Powerkontrol was founded
in 1984.
- In 1986 Powerkontrol
established business partnership with an Australian switchboard
manufacturer－Universal Motor Kontrol Pty. Ltd. (UMK) who is presently
one of the largest switchboard exporter in Australia.
- Powerkontrol became ASD
approved Suppliers of Material and Specialist Contractors
for Public Works in 1988.
- In February, 1998 Powerkontrol
became the exclusive agent (for Hong Kong and Macau) and
the non-exclusive agent (for Mainland China) for the "PDL"
(Nilsen) and other "PDL" products that include
ACB, FCU, Capacitor, Power Factor Controller, etc.
- In May, 1998 Powerkontrol
was successfully accredited ISO 9001 with Maintenance
Service by the Hong Kong Quality Assurance Agency (HKQAA)
- On 1999 and 2000 Powerkontrol
also became the approved Hong Kong Housing Authority Department
L.V. Switchboard and Busbar Trucking System Supplier.

Ltd. web site. We have developed this web site to allow
you to get to know our products and services a bit better,
as well as make all of our information available to you
24 hours a day.
We are one of the L.V. Switchboard manufacturer already
on the ASD approved since 1988. We have participated in
most of the government projects, eg. office buildings, hospitals,
bridges, airports, swimming pools, tunnels, highways, water
treatment plants; and the other commercial projects. We
are also on the supplier approved list of the KCRC, MTR
and HKHA.
To further elevate our competitive force we have developed
another range of products. we are successfully testified
our capabilites by developing a new beed of design. A switchboard,
named POWERKONTROL
3200, built under the new concept and complying
with the latest National and International Standards was
sent for ASTA certification:-
- ASTA certificated for temperature rise and arcing fault
containment;
- Short circuit tested to 40kA/1s/3s, 50kA/1s/3s and 63ka/1s;
- IP31 and IP42, Form 4 segregation;
- Main busbar rated to 3200A;
Under the quality assurance scheme of ISO 9001 our performance,
work qualities and services have also been greatly improved. |
